Favor Honey is honey produced by beekeepers in Indonesia

One of the reasons why we started to become beekeepers and study beekeeping and learn how to collect honey is because we love eating honey and it's hard to get real honey in our area.

We also really care about honey bees because if bees disappear from the earth, humans only have 4 years to survive as said by Albert Einstein

“If  the bee dissapeared off the face of the Earth, man would only  have  four years left to live” – Albert Einstein

Honey bees are responsible for 80% of all pollination worldwide. One colony of bees can help pollinate 300 million flowers every day. Grains are mainly pollinated by the wind, but fruits, nuts and vegetables are pollinated by bees. Seventy of the 100 main food crops that supply approximately 90% of the entire nutrition are pollinated by bees.

The bees we cultivate are stingless and stingless bees. These two bees have very different characteristics and the honey they produce is also different.

For stinging bees we cultivate Apis Mellifera bees that tend to produce more honey than local bees (Apis Cerana). The location of our bee colony in Central Java and East Java.

Meanwhile, the stingless bees that we are currently cultivating include Heterotrigona Itama and Trigona Laeviceps. Locations of stingless bees include Bengkulu and South Sulawesi

The honey produced varies depending on the season of interest throughout the year. The honey produced by stinging bees of the Apis Mellifera species includes:

• Wildflower Honey
• Ceiba Blosso Honey
• Madu Bunga Karet (Hevea Blossom Honey)
• Calliandra Honey

While the honey produced by stingless bees includes:

• Wild Forest Honey

Favor Honey provides honey collected from beehives without filtering. That way honey still contains bee pollen which contains many vitamins and minerals that have many benefits.
